Gone Mobile--Finally!!

I just got a new notebook with wireless capability and I'm trying it out at the East Hills Branch of the Anaheim Public Library. I had trouble at first because my battery was low, so now I am plugged in and exploring away. This is so cool. :)

Nanette's Nook is now Nanette's Network

I have deleted my Ning network Nanette's Nook and changed it to Nanette's Network due to a confusing URL I originally established Nanette's Nook under.

Ning and Flickr

I have been working on my Ning network "Nanette's Nook." I was able to configure the applications that allows network members to add, edit, and delete photos from Flickr to the network. The step-by-step instructions for getting the Flickr API key on Ning a very straight-forward. At first I was a little intimidated by it because I was looking at the Flickr documentation for establishing the API. If you just follow the instructions on Ning, everything goes smoothly.

Solution to Photo Profile Problem

Hey, you won't believe it. I just fixed it! I deleted my cookies, then I clicked the delete photo link (which did nothing at first, and which had not worked in my many previous attempts) and pressed the enter key immediately after I clicked this link (in the moment that the page flashes for a second). This did the trick, removing the image. I'm soooo happy!

Avatars

Well, long time no see..

As you can see, I having been learning about Avatars. I inserted an image that is animated and too large as my profile picture, and now I can't delete it. I have tried various suggested solutions, but to no avail. I even tried replacing the html code for the photo with code for a smaller one from http://www.meez.com/, but it didn't work. Any help out there?
